Excessive bore wear in the lubrication pressure regulator circuit on these units can cause a Vibration, Shudder - Bump/Bang or "Judder" when the torque converter internal clutch is applied. Often misdiagnosed as a converter problem, this "Judder" and harsh and harsh engagement can be followed by increased clutch pack pressure and can cause a cold engine to stall.
